I. Call To Order: The meeting was called to order at 11:30 A.M.
II. Roll Call: In attendance was Michelle Lewis - President, Austin Korpal - Treasurer, Teresa Korpal - Secretary, Karen Stillwell - Director, and Katlyn Korpal.
III. Approval of Agenda: Austin Korpal made a motion to approve the agenda, seconded by Karen Stillwell. Motion Carried.
IV. Approval of Minutes: Karen Stillwell made a motion to approve the Minutes from August 14, 2020 meeting, seconded by Austin Korpal. Motion carried.
V. Treasurer Report: Karen Stillwell made a motion to approve the August treasurer report, seconded by Michelle Lewis. Motion Carried.
VI. Public Comments: There were no public comments at this time.
VII. Old Business:
(a) Meijer donation form was dropped off and we are waiting to hear back. We contacted Renae and she said to check again after Labor Day.
(b) T-shirt order: The cost was higher than first thought. Instead of $6.75 for shirts small to XL, they will be $10.50. The total cost came to $210.00. Since only $180 was approved for shirts, Karen Stillwell made a motion to approve the extra $30 for the cost. Teresa Korpal seconded the motion. A roll call vote was taken to spend the money. Michelle Lewis - President, Aye. Austin Korpal - Treasurer, Aye. Karen Stillwell - Director, Aye. Teresa Korpal - Secretary, Aye. Motion Carried.
(c) Water Donation: We can get water donated from Ice Mountain again this year.
(d) Update on public posting: Karen Stillwell rechecked on the suicides in Mecosta County for this year, and they remain at one. We have the Walk now listed on the Ferris events calendar, Community Calendar, Visitor Calendar, and has been submitted to WWBR. Still trying to get ahold of the Pioneer Newspaper.
(e) Printing of the Flyer: Flyers were discussed as far as how many and where to put them. It was decided because of Covid-19, to go with a 1-page flyer to put up on area businesses. Also, to print only a few at first and more as needed.
(f) Website: We heard from Beckie Bunker-Cass that the link is not set-up right because we don't pay for the website. Michelle Lewis is going to check on the cost of that to be added to Google.
